The proliferation of artistic tools matters not. If we passed out surgeon kits to everyone - would you let your next door neighbor perform that quadruple bypass your Dad needs? Probably not. Same idea with art. There are a lot of people using the tools - but only the talented are creating art.

Same as it ever was.

I agree about these dangerous times when mediocrity turns to cool because all they want are I LIKE IT badges count. It's related to democracy of fools. It's more aggressive nowadays.
