This is a poster I have been working on for illustration class.
The actual size is 24''x8''.
Wigstock is an annual drag festival that takes place in the East Village, in NYC.
Please, whenever you post anything in the critique section, you really need to thoroughly explain what your composition/design is about. The background of the design project and anything else that could help us properly critique your work. Otherwise, we're lost.

...seems a little hard to read. Maybe making the bandana a little darker can help. The word Wigstock, IMO, should be bigger as it's the name of the festival.
i don't think wigstock necessarily needs to be "bigger" as much as it needs to stand out more. there's not nearly enough contrast with the background and it gets totally lost.
is there a particular requirement to work 24x8? that's not much of a poster at that size. 8" wide can get lost very easily.
I like the illustration, but it conveys wigs more than drag. Maybe if instead of sunglasses you show masculine facial features - eyes, bridge of the nose - it might better say "drag festival".
Some advice...

This is a cool illustration though.

It would be even more
It would be even more impressive if you had the rest of the details on the poster!

And maybe a little face
And maybe a little face stubble too...[Just looked again: Actually, just raise the face up so the hints of a handlebar mustache can be seen.]
Unless the attendees are familiar with this image I would recommend making it more obvious that it's a DRAG festival not a hair festival.
