I was looking back at previous entries and saw your older version of this that had the black and white rays in the background. I don't know if it's personal preference or not, but I think that way worked a little better. By coloring all your rays, you have completely separated the rays and the cats into two pieces that really don't relate together at all. My other critique would be your choice of colors. I understand that it is supposed to be one big collection of color, but the placing of them seems rather random. I think it would have been better if you would've stuck to one version of each color (rather than having 4 or 5 different blues, for example).
That's just me being critical. Overall, I like it. It is very original and balanced. Good job. =)
