Hi Guys! Was after a bit of feedback on the logo i'm working on, the blocks make the shape of parliament house in Canberra. Do you think this idea is working? I've been working on some other ideas, mostly hand generated type that hasn't really gone anywhere. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

This is a logo???
I have never been a fan of all uppercase lettering with logo designs. However, sometimes it can work if done properly.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason with this design. There is no balance at all. The blocks, although you described what they're for, don't really belong there—at least in the composition you created.
It's as though you just stacked the words on top of each other, and placed some squares on the side to indicate stairs, and that's it. Logo done.
I would literally take this and start all over, and experiment with different typefaces—this one isn't working.

You're heading in the right
You're heading in the right direction, however, I'd lose the blocks and drop in a more sketchy looking linear interpretation of the building's profile. Then, I would start back at the text's size/location/font etc. based upon the look of this hand drawn icon.
