Direct Mail postcard concept for SNAP FITNESS. I used the SNAP FITNESS website as reference. I tried to keep this postcard corporate looking and "lactose free" - (no cheesy stuff).
Overall you've got a pretty solid layout here, but it could use a little tweaking.
I like the way you're trying to stick with the same feel as the website. I think you've done a good job at this with most elements, however - the appears "darker" than the website, because you have much more black and gray than the site, which is primarily just red and white (with hints of gray). Also, with the lighter texture in the red, it appears more orange than the red in the site.
My biggest concern is the girl on the front looks sickly because of the lighting. Adjust your curves and colour balance so there is less blue. Example:
Also, it seems some elements (the logo and the "$49", specifically) look quite pixelated. Are they vector?
The phone number in both places seem a little off for some reason. . . perhaps like they are more of an afterthought. You need more padding on the left side of the phone number on the back as well.
Hope that helps, it's looking good, keep it up. :)

Thank you for your input. You have a keen eye Stephanie, your right... that logo is not vector. The client (for some reason) can't obtain a vector file of his own logo, go figure.
I've seen some pieces get torn to shreds by the creativebits community.....as far as criticism. I should consider myself lucky.
I agree. In more situations than not, clients do not give me vector versions of anything, and I'm having to vectorize logos and artwork people give me. It doesn't take very long, and it looks helluva nicer and allows unlimited sizing options.
Definitely agree. But also don't forget Brands of the world. Many company logos are stored here in vector format; especially the larger, more well known companies but others as well.
Snap is a franchise so I'd be really surprised if they didn't have a set of artwork standards (comes with the contract in fact; I researched this for Terry's Applebees/TGIF question a while back) and can send you a vector logo quicker than you can redraw it.
It seems like the $49 offer is the selling point here. Why is it not more prominent? Besides that, I agree with the design crit posted by stephanie. Good job!
Make sure not to suck the blue out of the blue dumbell in her hand, though. :)
Overall, with the changes and suggestions others have already made I think it's a nice piece. I'm actually trying to find out if you ever redrew their logo, as I've run into the same "can't get the vector file" problem since I started working with them. Please let me know if you'd be willing to share it to save me a little bit of time - I've got a ton of other logos I've had to recreate, so there just may be something in my arsenal you could use.
Not bad

Please. PLEASE. Redraw the logo. It will take you all of 5 minutes. I redraw logos all the time-- way more complex than this one. Don't be lazy. :P
Please trace into vector.

Redrawn Snap Fitness Logo
Did you ever redraw this logo? I'm trying to save a little time here, and I've run into the same "can't get the vector file" issue with them.
Thanks,

You could trace it yourself.
You could trace it yourself. Doesn't sound like a vector version is out there anywhere. Sometimes we designers gotta improvise. :)

The text on the reverse side within the greyed "$49" area should read:
Present this coupon at the SNAP location nearest you.... or
Present this coupon at a SNAP location near you
Minor grammar fix. Rest looks good--corporate yet vibrant.

This is a franchise, they should support their members' efforts with good vector logos:

I'd be very surprised if they didn't.
