I was prompted to install the 10.5.4 update this morning. Does anybody know of any issues yet with this update?
I declined to install it because I was in the middle of working on something.

Another great article source
Another great article source for issues with 10.5.4:

Apple says there's an important update for CS3 and opening and saving files on a server but other than that there's not much mentioned regarding other apps and issues we designers are concerned with. See my post in weblinks re 10.5.4.
I always let the NEXT update come out before downloading one. Let 10.5.5 come out before you use 10.5.4, in other words.

Well...
...for what it's worth - the latest update does indeed seem to have cured the infamous 'saving CS3 psd's to a server' problem.
Pardon me if I just do a little 'sqwee!'
:D
It's been brilliant for me,
Huge stability and speed increases over 10.5.3
That's odd
There were no speed improvements listed for 10.5.4. Is it possible that a restart just served to free up some memory and that's where you speed increase is coming from?
I generally leave my MacPro turned on for weeks at a time, but I do notice a decent speed boost after a restart - which is normal for any computer or OS.

Actually...
... I agree about the speed increase. Things just seem to be 'better' now.
Booting up especially seems to be just a bit slicker.
