NFL eps vector art logos anyone?
Charlie D (384 points) | Mon, 2005-01-31 03:51Being in Philadelphia, I am planning a kick ass superbowl party, after all its only been 20 some years since the city has had a championship! So I am planning invites and signs to put up about the house.
My question is, does any one know where I can find eps version or ai files or any vector art of nfl logos along with this years superbowl logo? I knew of two sites one was something like designcommandcenter and the other was sports encyclopedia or something of the sort. Does any one know where I might find these logos for free?

You can download all the NFL logos in eps format over at Brands of the World.
Use the search box at the bottom, put the team name in Quotes ("Philadelphia Eagles") otherwise you will get every logo with either word in them.
PS: The Eagles are soooooo gonna get their asses kicked! :lol:

I am looking for color vector art for the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and the 76ers. All that I could find at Brands of the World was the 76ers. I tried your suggestion with the quotes and didn't find anything at all. I really need these logos soon, any ideas?

But the only place I've found them is the link below. It is a 13.5MB file on Rapidshare and contains NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and NCAA logos all in one zip file.
Most pro sports leagues put the smack down on vector logo sites, as you have noticed, most pro logos are no longer available. The link below is someone's "personal collection" and I'm sure once it gets out, it'll get shut down.

No, I'm not a Cardinals fan. And I have seen the silly-assed logo redesign. And while I think it's a better version of the logo, I've never understood why they kept the Cardinals name and logo when they moved to Arizona marketing reasons aside, you can't escape the fact that THERE ARE NO FUCKING CARDINALS IN ARIZONA!!!

I hate that whole thing with teams moving. They should always have to change their names to something else. There are so many examples of screwed up names.
The Utah Jazz didn't change their name after they moved from New Orleans. So then when the Charlotte Hornets moved to New Orleans, they kept the name. Then because the Jazz didn't change their name back in the 70's we end up with a stupid name like the Charlotte Bobcats when they came into the league because New Orleans still had Charlotte's franchise name.
Other bits of stupidity, LA Lakers, formerly Minnesota. There are no lakes in LA! I think the only sports relocation that actually worked was Minnesota/Dallas Stars. Minnesota's team referenced the North Star, whereas Dallas makes reference to the Lone Star state, so that worked.
Anyhow, back on topic cdisantis, I PMed you about the logos. If you still need them, I can hook you up.

I just looked up the logo. It's hardly a change. Looks similar to what the Seahawks did with their logo, making their bird look a little meaner. Their new jerseys look crap though. It looks like they just updated the Houston Oilers jerseys.

apparently, the Cardinals are going to unveil a new uniform as well, I'm guessing a black & red uniform, instead of the ugly white & red.
Still a stupid name and stupid logo, no matter what color you make it.

They have pictures of the new uniform on their website. It's red/white/baby blue, so they look like the old Houston Oiler jerseys. Don't understand that. Just seems like everyone wants baby blue in their jerseys nowadays.

If you're referring to the jersey in the picture below, that's this year's pro-bowl jersey, not the new uniform. They haven't unveiled the new uniform yet.

If nothing else you can just scan one in and redraw it-- get it off their website or something. Maybe even live trace if you're lucky.
