The question should've been: First Apple made commercially available Intel Mac?
IMO, it'll be the Mac Mini, that's why there was a so "copy" of a mini that was commissioned by Intel http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000577045099/
I think that it was a public "coup" to pre-announce Intel Processors in Macs, and prove that it is possible to produce macintels similar to exiting products.
With the mini, it would be an inexpensive machine that will have a maximum of appeal (XP+OsX)... If there is a better videocard, and improved HD/DVD playback, it would be the ultimate mass-switching machine.

I think it will be between those two.
I think Apple will want to deliver the new systems to their pro users first, and then work their way down the line.
OR
Since the powerbook has LONG been waiting for an update, I could see this being the one as well.

I believe the main reason for switching to Intel for Apple was to bring the speed of the pro laptop range in par with PCs. So, I guess the first Intel Mac has to be a Powerbook. We've been waiting for the G5 PB for ages! I'm not complaining. I think the G4 PBs are fast enough for their purpose.
The new ipod video can be the first to use an intel proc....wait and see
