But he looks a little awkward in that pose. I'd definitely rework the background and add more detail to the moon. I'd also remove the logo, as it just seems crammed in, or rather it looks like he's trying to fit into the little space he has left. Lose the soft edge on the name up top, in yellow. His face seems a little flat as well, it seems like it can use a few more tones to round it off. The costume is nothing to write home about ( was Spiderman the reference?) You might want to add a light texture to it to make it more interesting.
The body copy is hard to read. Add the stroke to the outside of the text rather than the middle (either by outlining or copy pasting behind).
Try something different with the font. It's just there. Make it huge, something. Make it more animated some how.

Haha....This is cool. Great start. However, like posted before me, this piece does have flaws. You need to use a bit of color theory to give your character his personality. Masked Mangler who looks like a cross between Captain America and Spiderman doesn't really cut it for me. With a name like Masked Mangler, I would expect a darker color scheme for his costume.
I kinda dig the logo, but not the text up on top. The typeface is too cutesy and not edgy enough. The letter "M" has an awkward heart shape inbetween the legs. I no likey.
All in all, change your color scheme and make the overall tone darker. Refernce current comic books and how they use colors and typography. Right now, he looks like a character from THE TICK cartoon series. Good start though.
Nice start...

if you're looking for comic
if you're looking for comic book feel, you need to use more comic book styled typography.
masked mangler and a "pincer" as part of his logo?
it looks very airbrushed, which isn't bad, in and of itself, but it isn't really comic book style, either.

Agree with the above
Agree with the above comments, plus yes...great start with this piece.
What you also might like to introduce is some cross-hatching (http://drawsketch.about.com/library/blinktexture.htm), and/or refer to some publishers' sites:

And overall, HAVE FUN! I was a real comic nut as a kid and really enjoyed developing my own characters and strips.
