Greetings all, My client approved this logo concept. I am trying now to get the logo type to share in the visual language of the logo.
The company is a machining/component design shop. The logo concept is that the 'component' made up of the three shapes is similar in form to typical parts and machinery found in the A&S design shop. The shapes that make up the logo can also be used to build and design other forms that can be used to reinforce the brand, and the company's creativity and span of service. Will post some of those also. Also the logo kind-of makes an 'aS' shape.
Thanks in advance.

They're competing--the icon
They're competing--the icon vs the entire company name. The A&S vs the DESIGN. All is in disharmony.
Try left-justifying the entire company name beneath the icon, all words in a smaller yet same-size text. Keep all in caps and bold up only the A&S of
A&S DESIGN.
BTW--I LOVE the icon that you developed. Great work.

Thanks for the advice. I
Thanks for the advice. I knew there was something wrong I just couldn't see what it was. I'll try doing what you suggested. Cheers :)
Oh yeah, any opinions about the letter forms for the A&S? They're futura with a little alteration.
