Photoshop: From Ho-hum to Wow!
You can use Photoshop to bring out the magic of photos that are muddy, soft, or blandly composed.

the composition works with the ghosted image of the band in the background....but, i can't help but wonder what a Japanese-style sunset has to do with a punk rock band. Its very distracting.
Thanks for the input, Stack. I was wondering if the sunburst was too Asian. Maybe if I changed the color of it. I was trying to add some color and dimension. They aren't punk rock though. So I was having a difficult time thinking of another design.
I like the burst, even though it is a faded trend. but bring it more from the corner. so you dont see the "sun" just the rays. i think this is the most appealing then the others.
peace
-try to drop the outerglow... maybe thats just a personal thing...
it's not just a personal thing... the outer glow gives a bad vibe, especially when overused like that (on everything)... it says "look, i have photoshop effects!" it's kind of like using times new roman and arial in your documents.
Thanks guys. I wasn't sure what to do with the font so it would show. Use white???
If you need a little inspiration, perhaps you can draw some more from these examples?
I've got about 10 more sample flyers, all in .psd format, ready to download for free at the following location.
